Wildwych Valkyrie is a wonderful young mare who is sure to make significant contribution to the Connemara breed as a broodmare.  She grew up in Colorado with the other Wildwych Connemaras and came to Free Rayn Hill in the Fall of 2006 on a short term lease. She has been an important addition to our herd.

As Emily says, "Even though sometimes she can be a mare and step on your toe or be very impatient, she is still really sweet. Valley was a little shy when she arrived - she had never had kids around her before. Now she doesn't show any sign that she was ever shy. Valley and her foal, Percy, are doing great at Free Rayn Hill. Valley is eating every single piece of grass or hay she can find and Percy is having the time of her life galloping around the pasture!"

Valley will be returning home to Colorado in the Fall of 2008. It has been wonderful to have her here at our farm and we are anxious to see what her future holds in the mare band at Wildwych. We will be watching her closely!!
